I have already left a message about this issue with support@hamrick.com,
however I wonder if anyone else has seen this. When I try to scan each image on a strip of three 6x6 negatives I can never get a full scan of the entire #2 negative. It is always cut in half. I have experienced this using VueScan version 7.6.69 and with 7.6.74. My only solution so far has been to cut the strip into 2 pieces. I am using the FH-869S holder and WinXP. Mike |

I forget what the settings are, but the idea is that the scanner scans a 6x9 area for both preview and final scan, so you have to set this 6x9 area to three different positions, one for each 6x6 frame. I think Vuescan (perhaps reflecting the hardware???) assumes that there are only two positions, so one of your frames is always going to be wrong. You need to figure out how to set the scan area manually. It's a minor pain until you figure out what the numbers are. David J. Littleboy Tokyo, Japan |
