Default Vuescan timing for slide type

Hi,
Hope this isn't the dumb question of the day - oh well -

On Vuescan.

Using Nikon LS-2000 and performing raw scans to disk.

When is the "slide type" choice on the "color" page effective?

I've a very few Ektachrome slides in the middle of Kodachrome.

Do I change it during the scan to disk, or during the conversion from Raw files?

Thank you,

Dave Palmer

It's effective in the conversion from raw files, it has
no effect on the writing of raw files.
