problems with vuescan 7.6.73

I just upgraded to version 73 and faced the following problems:

Grain reduction and Infrared cleaning do not work.

Processing is extremely slow (more than five times longer than before).

Up to version 70 everything worked fine. I also deleted the vuescan
directory and the vuescan.ini manually and installed again.
Same result.

I am using a Nikon Coolscan 4000, Windows XP.

Any idea?

Same here,

Processing time up to 5 minutes per scan, in stead of 10-15 seconds.
Unworkable.

I would like to put back an older version (7.6.70 worked fine'. Where can I
find it?
I have an awfull lot of scanwork to do.

Same here with a canoscan 4000.
Exposure totally off.
Callibration eats up about 150 meg ;-)
All memory is gone after about 3 scans.
I did use my old ini though.
Went back to .72

canoscan 4000 on win98

Just installed .74
Exposure still totally off. No black anywhere.
Restarted several times.
New ini; calibration etc.

Going back to .72 again.
Anybody else having this?

Not for me. Seems to be the same as for prior versions.
