Epson 880 question

I have an Epson Stylus Colour 880 and would like to know how to remove the
head so I can soak it clean of a build-up of old ink. It prints OK but
small bits of old semi-dried ink occasionally drop off from the underside of
the head spoiling the page.

Can anyone help please?

I know about the option to use ammonia in the ink tubes etc. but don't need
or want to pursue this action.
