HP Deskjet 712C Print Page Order?

I have a Hewlett Packard Deskjet 712C printer on a Dell PC with
WindowsXP Professional. The printer works fine, except some days ago,
for no apparent reason, on documents with more than one page, the
printer began printing in reverse order; that is, last page first. I
have confirmed that at Start>Printers&Faxes>Select Printer
Preferences, "Front to Back" is selected at "Page Order" on the Layout
tab. I changed that to "Back to Front" and then back again to "Front
to Back", but that made no difference. I removed and then reinstalled
the printer, but that made no difference. The printer driver is
provided by WindowsXP. (My understanding is that HP does not offer a
WindowsXP driver for the Deskjet 712C.) I have not installed any new
programs recently. And everything else works fine. If anyone here has
any ideas, I will very much appreciate hearing them! Thanks. Peter

What program are you using to print? Word has an option to reverse the print
pages, found in File -> Page Setup -> Print Options, there is a checkbox there
to reverse print order.

Bob, Thank you for your response. I do use Word, and I checked at
File>PageSetup>PrintOptions, as you suggested, and "reverse print
order" is not selected. I guess I am just going to have to live with
my printer printing last page first. It is mostly just a nuisance.

I'm sure you have tried this but I am going to suggest it anyway. Try using
'system restore' to restore your system to a date when you weren't having
this problem.

Try using system restore to restore your computer to a date when you weren't
having this problem. This has worked for me many times.
