Complain to Microsoft. Several percent of desktops still sit on Cyrix chips, it is in their interests to have MSN Messenger be able to be installed on them. The only reason why the installer isn't letting you install would be sloppy CPUID coding that needs to be fixed up. |

I have Debian running on a Cyrix 300+ system as a fileserver, router, mailserver, firewall, etc... this little system is running for over 1.5 years now, without a glitch. Even a plain Win98 install isn't that obvious on this type of hardware... |

That should do the trick for all but the sloppiest of programming. ------------- Tony Hill hilla <underscore> 20 <at> yahoo <dot> ca |

I spoke to Johnathan, so to speak, before, and he was stymied also. I am contacting MSN to bitch about the whole Cyrix incompatibility issue too......bloody nazis. |
