Useless laptop...

Hi,

Hope this is a suitable group...

I've got an old working laptop with a good screen. I was thinking that
if I could mount it vertically in the kitchen (away from nasties) and
put a wireless card in it I could use it like these internet fridges,
for recipies etc...

Then I thought, wouldn't it be great to pipe TV/DVD to it!

I've got a TV Tuner card in my desktop, with a wireles connection, so
I thought I could use Windows Terminal Service on the laptop to
display what was on the desktop screen (ie the TV picture) but it
doesn't work.

Short of buying a seperate PCMCIA TV Tuner card (don't have a spare
slot on the laptop with the wirelass card in) can anyone suggest how I
can get TV displayed on this laptop display??
