Default how do i disable visual basic in outlook?

Every time I create a new email or reply to/forward an existing message, i
get a Visual Basic popup that says: "The macros in this project are
disabled. Please refer to the online help or documentation of the host
application to determine how to enable macros." I am at a complete loss on
how to disable this, any suggestions? thanks!

The message is most likely coming from Word. Either remove the macros from the Normal.dot template or change Word's macro security setting in its Tools | Macro | Security dialog.
