I captured my small home movie in movie maker. When I tried writing it
to DVD I get recordable media not detected. For some reason my DVDR wont accept the Memorex DVDRs I bought. Then I tried writing to a CD-R disk. It apparently did creadte a DV disk but my player says "no valid disk detected". Please help. |

Movie Maker doesn't make DVDs, and the CDs it burns are not supported by
stand-alone DVD players. You need to use other software... see the CD Burning and DVD Software sections of www.papajohn.org -- PapaJohn Movie Maker 2 and Photo Story 3 - www.papajohn.org Photo Story 2 - www.photostory.papajohn.org .. I got it! I wrote my movie to the hard drive, then used the SONIC
software from DELL to write to a DEV+R 4X and came up with a DVD that plays on my TV. Exciting! I want to go make some real movies now.
