Hi all.
I have just installed movie maker and am trying to undertake some editing. I find that when I add clips to the timeline and try to play them, I get sound but no picture in the preview window which makes editing very difficult. I have saved to HDD using both the formats (WMV & AVI) and this makes no diference. Any suggestions? Thanks. |

What kind of source files are you using? If they are MPEG-2 you need to
convert them to AVI files first. -- PapaJohn Movie Maker 2 and Photo Story 3 - www.papajohn.org Photo Story 2 - www.photostory.papajohn.org .. All the video was captured directly from a DV video camera. I have tried both WMV & AVI and both formats cannot be viewed in the preview window if placed in the timeline.
