when I instruct MM to make a CD, it starts the process and gets to 58%
completion then it sits there idle for hours doing nothing and not completing the process. I have turned the program off and on again, restarted the make movie process at least 4 times with the same results! (I am making a video from still pictures) Does anyone know what the solution is? thanks -- mekanic |

Have you tried to save your movie to the hard drive to see if that works?
If you get the same results then I would suspect either the project is too complex and needs to be done in two parts or you have a corrupt or unsupported filetype in the project somewhere. Post back more info for more detailed help such as: Did it work to save the movie to HDD? What are the filetypes used? Are you working with a lot of transitions and/or effects? -- Wojo www.remember-christopher.dostweb.com/Wojo's_Place/ "mekanic" <mekanic@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:C3183241-EAF0-49FC-BAD3-D5B3F89102E0@microsoft.com... > when I instruct MM to make a CD, it starts the process and gets to 58% > completion then it sits there idle for hours doing nothing and not > completing > the process. You missed one of the questions I asked the original poster.
What filetypes are you using? It apparently isn't a matter of being too complex since you split the movie up and it still didn't work.
