BACKGROUND:
With Business Contact Mngr installed, when I click the "Send" button, the Outlook "Select Names" dialog box defaults to the "Accounts" list. In order to select an individual contact, one must: 1) Select "Contacts" from the "Show Names from the" drop down box 2) Type in all/part of a contact's name in the "Type Name or Select from List" field or click into the contact names list QUESTION: Is there a way to configure Outlook Email, with Business Contact Manager installed, so that the "Select Names" dialog box defaults to "Contacts" vice "Accounts"? Thanks for any insights provided, -- Brian J. Logeman |

Then you need to add the lists that you want to use for name resolution.

I can't. In the "Addressing" Window, the first drop down is empty and the
button to add lists is not available. What else? Are you referring to an address book on a server? If so, no.
ALSO: I've been trying to post a question on this forum for the last two days and it has not shown up yet: My inbox has showed up in my business contacts activities box. I've tried clearing all caches and re-installing and that does not work. Any suggestions? "Sue Mosher [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: > Do you have the Outlook Address Book installed in your mail profile? No, I'm referring to the Outlook Address Book, the container for all address
lists built from contacts folders. What do you see in the dialog I referred to? If Outlook Address Book is not there, add it, then restart Outlook. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx "David" <David@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:AE0988B1-B7BF-4AF7-9391-55A00A7500AE@microsoft.com... > Are you referring to an address book on a server?
