The only way I can make it work is using the advanced tab and writing it
like: Categories contains category1 Categories contains category1 AND category2 I'm not sure if the QueryBuilder key will work with BCM: http://www.slipstick.com/emo/2004/up040722.htm#query Is there a reason you need advanced find and not a custom view? The SQL filter might work better, but it's views only: http://www.slipstick.com/emo/2004/up040708.htm#davx -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Coauthor, OneNote 2003 for Windows (Visual QuickStart Guide) Author, Google and Other Search Engines (Visual QuickStart Guide) Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Join OneNote Tips mailing list: http://www.onenote-tips.net/ Vote for your favorite Outlook and Exchange utilities in the Slipstick Ratings Raffle at http://www.slipstick.com/contest/ "Toni Carlson" <ToniCarlson@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:C86AD364-336F-4A0A-B16E-D3640B80EF5A@microsoft.com... > How can I get BCM to perform "AND" searches? Sorry - the point is to make it easy for the end user. My end user is barely
able to mail merge. She isn't going to install from the registry and write custom views. And since her needs change constantly, these aren't static variations I can create for her and she'll be fine forever. She needs to find find people belonging to 2 specific categories, then send letters or emails that she wants tracked in BCM. This is easily done in ACT or in Goldmine. Should it really be this hard to do in BCM? If it isn't easy for Sales Personnel, it won't get used.
