Hi
Is there any way to trap the newinspector event (or something else) when "Send to Mail Recipient" is used to send documents as attachments in Outlook 2000 and higher? I am using a Com Addin with Inspector and Explorer wrapper class as well as AddInMon. I know that there is an issue with this but was wondering if there were any work-a-rounds... I also use Outlook Redemption, maybe extended MAPI has something... anything???? Thanks Kristy |

Hello, Kristy,
from my knowledge, the only event you can use for this is the Application.ItemSend event. -- regards Helmut Obertanner Technical Consultant Softwaredevelopment DATALOG Software AG | Zschokkestr. 36 | D-80687 Munich web: www.datalog.de .... and IT works! <kristy@fluidsoftware.co.nz> schrieb im Newsbeitrag news:1111005424.218319.37890@g14g2000cwa.googlegroups.com... > Hi > > Is there any way to trap the newinspector event (or something else) > when "Send to Mail Recipient" is used to send documents as attachments > in Outlook 2000 and higher? > > I am using a Com Addin with Inspector and Explorer wrapper class as > well as AddInMon. Actually, even that won't work for this items that are created with simple
MAPI. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx "Helmut Obertanner" <obertanner@datalog.de> wrote in message news:OrUa26tKFHA.1528@TK2MSFTNGP09.phx.gbl... > Hello, Kristy, > > from my knowledge, > the only event you can use for this is the Application.ItemSend event. > > -- > regards > > Helmut Obertanner > Technical Consultant > > Softwaredevelopment > DATALOG Software AG | Zschokkestr. 36 | D-80687 Munich > web: www.datalog.de > > > ... and IT works! > > <kristy@fluidsoftware.co.nz> schrieb im Newsbeitrag > news:1111005424.218319.37890@g14g2000cwa.googlegroups.com... >> Hi >> >> Is there any way to trap the newinspector event (or something else) >> when "Send to Mail Recipient" is used to send documents as attachments >> in Outlook 2000 and higher? >> >> I am using a Com Addin with Inspector and Explorer wrapper class as >> well as AddInMon.
