Problem:
I upgraded Desktop to 3.0GHZ/XP Home from 2.66/XP Pro. After re-installing Office 2003 System to new HD; i get the following error message when starting Outlook 2003. I have tried to find the referenced dll in the referenced directory to no avail. I think it is a .com add-in file but cannot find it. I also have Norton NIS 2004 Pro installed and although de-selected (in Norton and in the Add-in manager of Outlook) I cannot get the Anti-Spam tool bar to go away (previous communications with Symantec and Microsoft proved futile). I think this is the error even though when running on old machine under XP Pro I had same toolbar problem but never saw the error message. Error: Quote: 'C:\Documents and Settings\Shujin\Application Data\Microsoft\AddIns\C:\PROGRA~1\MICROS~3\OFFICE11 \Addins\outbak.dll' is not a valid Office Add-in. Unquote Any help would be appreciated since this error appears twice each time I open Outlook 2003. |
