I am trying to figure out a way to set reminders for an
item that is located in a public folder. I would like to be able to specify the users who would receive the reminder. I have tried various tricks programattically, using various scripts and customized forms - but I have not been able to come up with a suitable solution. Does anyone know of a way to do this, or a good third- party utility that does this? I don't want anything complex - as I was trying to work through the problem, my solution started to resemble a Rube Goldberg device - scheduled tasks, scripts, custom forms, all trigerring one another, etc etc - and there were still too many instances where it wouldn't work and the users wouldn't receive their reminders. Thanks, Michael Pare |

One easy solution (although not free)
www.slovaktech.com/ Look for a product called Reminder Manager. It works very well. -- Patricia Cardoza Outlook MVP www.cardozasolutions.com Author, Special Edition Using Microsoft Outlook 2003 ***Please post all replies to the newsgroups*** "Michael Pare" <anonymous@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:010f01c3c655$ed778a20$a301280a@phx.gbl... > I am trying to figure out a way to set reminders for an > item that is located in a public folder.
