Patrick-
If you're not already familiar with Redemption objects, take a look at http://www.dimastr.com/redemption Redemption objects work OK in a .NET environment. CDO, on the other hand, is not supported for .NET. -- Randy Byrne, MVP - Outlook http://www.microeye.com Building Applications with Microsoft Outlook 2002 (MSPress - July 2001) Building Applications with Microsoft Outlook 2000 (MSPress) http://www.microeye.com/books Micro Eye ZipOut http://www.microeye.com/zipout "Patrick Jox" <patrickj@stz-sysan.de> wrote in message news:euOo0C%23RDHA.3700@tk2msftngp13.phx.gbl... > Ok, this is what I expected. CDO is not supported why? I worked with cdo and it worked fine for me?
Now I made my first test addin in Word from where I get Information from an outlook contact. And I do not get a security alert. How can this be? I open a contact and display some information in the word document. No alert. Is this normal? I expected to get some alerts. I am using Office 2002 and Visual Studio .NET 2003 Patrick "Randy Byrne [MVP - Outlook]" <rbyrnemvp@nospammicroeye.com> schrieb im Newsbeitrag news:Oi$QFgkSDHA.2432@TK2MSFTNGP10.phx.gbl... > Patrick- > > If you're not already familiar with Redemption objects, take a look at > http://www.dimastr.com/redemption Redemption objects work OK in a .NET > environment.
