Outlook 2002 won't opeen web links in IE6

Have run Outlook 2002 SP3 with no trouble. Recently, when
I click on any web link in my incoming mail, I get a
window that says Launch Link Browswer which is essentially
My Documents Folder looking for executable files, and a
blank version of IE6. How do I restore normal operation?
