Outlook stores your messages stores (OST and PST) as hidden files in
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook, where username will be the username used on the drive you want to access. It may be protected by account settings, if so, you'll need to give the logged in account permission to access the folder. Sure it's possible. Why did you import?
Just use the previous PST file in the new installation so you don't keep losing data. http://office.microsoft.com/assista...71141033&CTT=98 -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "bassiouny" <sbassiouny@hotmail.com> wrote in message news:f7f11b5f.0407031057.6a3d0d8a@posting.google.com... > i recovered the outlook.pst from the "c:\documents and settings ....
