Default Outlook 2003: Could not connect to MS Exchange 5.5

Hi,

I'm trying out Outlook 2003 on a Windows XP Pro
machine. Office 2003 was installed over the existing
Office XP package. I've been using Outlook 2003 for a few
months but my Windows XP Pro crashed so I had to repair
it using the installation CD. After the repair, Outlook
2003 would not work anymore.

I then uninstalled and re-installed Office 2003 but I
still can't connect to our Exchange 5.5 server. Here's
the message that I get when I try to add an Exchange
account:

"The name could not be resolved. Network problems are
preventing connection to the Microsoft Exchange Server
computer. Contact your system administrator if this
condition persists. You can choose File->Work Offline to
work locally until the server becomes available."

I have no problem connecting to the server, I can reach
it via UNC and via it's FQDN. I can open shares, ping it,
etc. but it's strange that Outlook 2003 could not see the
server.
