Hi,
Outlook 2002 SP2. How to export my (many) Outlook folders and messages to a UNIX mail-readable format? I did of course try File | Import and Export ... | Export to a File. And selected Windows CSV in the hopes that on my target UNIX machine I'd find some way of getting this into, in my case, elm (a line-oriented UNIX mail reader). The first show-stopper I ran into is that this operation won't work recursively on folders. I'm a programmer and if I have to write some VB (I use 6.0) to do this, that's fine. pat |

There should be some tools at http://www.slipstick.com/config/convmsg.htm to
help with this. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Outlook and Exchange solutions at http://www.slipstick.com Author of Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx "Patrick Flaherty" <Patrick_member@newsguy.com> wrote in message news:bqoej101skl@drn.newsguy.com... > Hi, > > Outlook 2002 SP2. > > How to export my (many) Outlook folders and messages to a UNIX mail-readable > format? > > I did of course try File | Import and Export ... | Export to a File.
