Greetings,
Just installed the first workstation with Office 2003 in an office 2000/2002 environment. When sending calendar invites from 2003 to 2000, the invites come in as garbage text to the inbox and never go into the other user's calendar. However, users can send calendar invites to the 2003 workstation and they are accepted without problem. Does anyone have any guidance with respect to compatibility issues? Thank you, Mitchell Earl |

Leave out the reminder. Or contact Microsoft Support to get the hotfix for Outlook 2000 that resolves what is in actually an iCalendar compatibility problem on Outlook 2000's part.

Thanks for the reply. Excuse my ignorance, but I go to the
link you sent, it describes the exact issue, says there is a post sp3 hotfix and I click to find out how to obtain it. Is there not some way to email the request without having to waste time on the phone? This has always been a mystery to me. If they really wanted to make it easy for people to contact them, then the "contact microsoft" text on the hotfix page would be a hyperlink that allowed the contact they describe.
