Hi,
One of my users has noticed that on the top level of a Personal Folder, there is no option for the preview pane, but on any email subfolders, there is the option. I have looked for a TechNet article hoping to explain why and I believe that it is a functionality issue, as it isn't classed as an email folder, but can someone confirm this or point me in the direction of a Knowledge Base article. Thanks in anticipation, Carl Smith |

Sorry,
Should mention that this is on Outlook 2002. >-----Original Message----- >Hi, > >One of my users has noticed that on the top level of a >Personal Folder, there is no option for the preview pane, >but on any email subfolders, there is the option. > >I have looked for a TechNet article hoping to explain why >and I believe that it is a functionality issue, as it >isn't classed as an email folder, but can someone confirm >this or point me in the direction of a Knowledge Base >article. > >Thanks in anticipation, > >Carl Smith >. > |

Your explanation is as good as any other. There should be no items stored in that folder, hence nothing to preview.
