Hi - i'm weak in outlook but want to exchange data between access 2k and
outlook 2k 0 using custom forms. I found some education based examples on MS site- related to maintenance requests that are quite similar to my project, but they require exchange - which i don't have on my home PC. eventually,(many hours from now) the forms will be placed in the organizational library at work. So..is there a way to create an organizational library in plain vanilla Outlook in order to try out these MS examples? OR - are there other examples that might show custom forms and access dbs. Thanks |

You do not need an Organizational Forms library to hold forms for your personal use. You can publish them to the Personal Forms library. See http://www.slipstick.com/dev/database.htm for other samples.
FYI, there is a separate newsgroup for Outlook forms issues -- microsoft.public.outlook.program_forms. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Outlook and Exchange solutions at http://www.slipstick.com Author of Microsoft Outlook Programming: Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx "Junior" <Junior@Zooland.zip> wrote in message news:Oo3npGRsDHA.2348@TK2MSFTNGP09.phx.gbl... > Hi - i'm weak in outlook but want to exchange data between access 2k and > outlook 2k 0 using custom forms. > I found some education based examples on MS site- related to maintenance > requests that are quite similar to my project, but they require exchange - > which i don't have on my home PC. > eventually,(many hours from now) the forms will be placed in the > organizational library at work. > So..is there a way to create an organizational library in plain vanilla > Outlook in order to try out these MS examples? > OR - are there other examples that might show custom forms and access dbs. > Thanks > > |
