Default opening *.exe attachments in email in Outlook 2000?

Is it possible to adjust outlook 2000 security so that I
can open a *.exe file sent to me by the business I work
for? Do I have any choice in security matters?
I just keep getting a "blocked" message.

Thanks, Rick Stroncek

Have them save the file with a .txt extesion and then send
it to you. After you get the attachment from them, rename
it.
