lost account

I've got a win2k native mode domain, and i've recently had
troubles getting a users outlook account to work. There is
no exchange server at the moment, our email is outsourced.
The user had his account added to the local administrators
account.. and then i have recently removed that user from
that group and suddenly, the user reports he cannot check
his email anymore: contacts are gone, everything.. even
desktop settings. like a new account was created. All the
other stuff was recoverable (mydocu).. i'm still trying to
figure out how to access all the user accounts from outook
from one sign in. can anybody help?
