Outlook 2002 Connector

I am using Outlook 2002 Connector to access a Lotus
Domino 5.0.12 server now. I have two problems though.

1) After I send an E-Mail I see a copy in the SENT items
folder, but after a few minutes the copy in the Sent
Items disappears.

2) If I compose a message then hit send it doesn't go
anywhere, but if I compose the message, save a draft,
open the draft, and then hit send. It goes on it's merry
little way to my intended recipient.

Ideas?
