Outlook 2002 Startup Failure

After installing the Outlook 2003 Trial, then uninstalling it, and installing
full version of Outlook XP, I receive an error message:

Microsoft Visual C++ Debug Library
Debug Error!
Program: C:/Program Files/Microsoft Office/Office 10/OUTLOOK.EXE
abnormal program termination
(press Retry to debug the application)

Clicking Abort, Retry or Ignore simply causes Outlook to shut down, and
nothing happens. Error occurs every time I try to start up Outlook. I keep
finding tidbits of info about similar problems, but none describing this
problem and solution exactly. Any solutions?

I am having the exact same problem. Does anyone have a solution???

Hi,

I have recently installed Office but cannot access Outlook. I'm getting the
same error message as you. Have you managed to find a solution?
