Outlook 2002 troubles

Hi. I got a new HP PDA and it has Outlook 2002 with it. I installed the
software on my Dell computer and the installation was successful. I have
comcast as an internet server and had their help setting up my e-mail account
on it so that part is good too. The PDA and my computer sync just fine so
for all intent & purposes everything should work well. However, when I go to
use any part of Outlook 2002, the computer says 'Microsoft has encountered a
problem and must shut down'...and it does. I've called Dell and HP and they
both say it's not their problems that I should contact Microsoft. Can anyone
here help me? I've been trying to resolve this issue for a month now.
