Default Updating Outlook 2000 -> 2003

I wish to update my existing Outlook 2000 to Outlook 2003 on my system
running W2K

Is this just a simple matter of installing 2003 over the top of 2000?

Obviously I want to keep my existing .pst, rules, layout etc.

ISTR that when I updated from Outlook 98 -> 2000 it went really smoothly
without disturbing my settings.

Is the 2000 ->2003 upgrade as easy?

Any gotcha's?

Thanks & regards,

Yes, that's all there is to it. If you are using IMO mode, then you may need
to fiddle with the Outlook Address Book to get contacts to show OK in the
address book, but that's usually the only fallout.

Hopefully I won't be back any time soon with a plea for help...<lol>

Thanks Sue.

Kind regards,

Actually, there's a lot that goes awry when you upgrade from IMO mode.
The first thing you should do is create a new profile immediately after the
upgrade. That will set everything straight.
