Default Make outlook 2003 work with word 2002 as email editor.


Is this a marketing scam to get you to buy office 2003? Why can't outlook
2003 use any word version as an email editor? How hard would it be to make
it backwords compatible? Come on!

It would be very hard and quite likely pointless. The changes in WordMail
between 2000 and 2002 and again between 2002 and 2003 were substantial and
significant. Making it backwards compatible would likely mean giving up all
those improvements.
