Can only start in safe mode

I just loaded Office Pro 2003 to a new PC. When I try to start it, I get a
message that it shut down incorrectly and can only start in safe mode. Once
started, there are no disabled items listed. What is the problem?

HI Fred,
maybe you tried SCANPST.EXE
or first you run OL in the safe mode, after OL starts, please close and
restart OL.
So you will be in the "normal" mode.
