OS: WinXP SP2
I was running Office XP Pro with no problems. Upgraded to Office 2003 Pro. Outlook would then not show any email. All I got was the To:, From: info, etc. The actual body of the message, whether new or previously on the system was gone. Removed 2003 and reinstalled XP. Now, when I click Send/Receive in OL, I get a error box popup that says "Could not open the item. Try again". I've tried reinstalling after removing all data files, and again after removing the Outlook folder in Application Data. Any suggestions that anyone could provide would be very much appreciated. Thanks, Rod |

Hi Rod,
maybe you try to clear the cache. It runs also in OL2003 1. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Other tab. 2. Click Advanced Options. 3. In the Advanced Options box, click Custom Forms. 4. In the Custom Forms box, click Manage Forms. 5. In the Forms Manager box, click Clear Cache. -- Ich habe nichts gemacht, gestern gings noch Bravestar2004@Arcor.de Join me in my Forum @ http://mitglied.lycos.de/bravestar2004 "Rod Templeton" <anonymous@discussions.microsoft.com> schrieb im Newsbeitrag news:1aef01c4e19d$869567f0$a401280a@phx.gbl... > OS: WinXP SP2 > > I was running Office XP Pro with no problems. Hi Andreas,
Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, it didn't work. Rod >-----Original Message----- >Hi Rod, >maybe you try to clear the cache. >It runs also in OL2003 > 1.
