Following a system reinstall, (Win XP and Office 2003) when settingup
OutlookI can see a second set of personal folders in the mail folders list, that appeared when first starting Outlook.. I have checked the data file used, recreated an empty set of files and imported all data, moved all old files to a seperate folder, but I can't delete this "ghost" set of files. When viewing the folders properties and attempting to find its location I get an error message "The operation failed. An object cannot be found". |

You migrated your Outlook data file (PST file) incorrectly and corrupted
your profile. Create a new profile and configure it to use only the PST file that contains your data. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Roger C" <Roger C@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:A4AD7C83-F37F-49C3-A29D-8EDBDD458F5D@microsoft.com... > Following a system reinstall, (Win XP and Office 2003) when settingup > OutlookI can see a second set of personal folders in the mail folders > list, > that appeared when first starting Outlook.. Thanks Russ for you assistance - it arrived just as I was reading another set
of posts and confirmed their contents. All has been corrected and am now viewing only one set of files. Thanks again for your prompt reply.
