Default Lotus SmartSuite

I have a small group of users who need to run Lotus
SmartSuite in addition to MS Office. We're looking at
upgrading those users to MS Outlook 2003, but when we
install the software, we receive an RPC error when we try
to connect to the Exchange server.

If we remove Smartsuite, everything runs normally.

Is there a specific program in Lotus Smartsuite that is
causing this conflict, or has "war" officially been
declared with the 2003 version of MS Office?

Default Lotus SmartSuite

Just as a quick followup, we're seeing this issue with
versions 9.6 and 9.8 of Lotus, and it doesn't seem to
matter what order the applications are installed, if
Lotus is on the machine, Outlook 2003 won't connect to an
exchange server.

Neither IBM nor Microsoft seem to have anything in their
KB about this conflict.

Thanks,

Greg
