Default Forward and send/receive buttons not shown in customize

My computer crashed and I had to re-install Office 2000. I have downloaded and installed all of the applicable Office updates. Upon opening Outlook 2000 immediately after the reinstalls, the Forward and Send/Receive buttons show briefly in the toolbar and then disappear. Further openings of Outlook 2000 don't even show the two buttons briefly. In addition, these two actions are not shown in the Customize task area as available Commands in the Toolbar - Actions category. Therefore, I cannot drag and drop them into my toolbar

I have removed Outlook through the remove programs option of Control panel, and then re-installed -- the problem remains

I have attempted to "reset" the toolbars, but that didn't work either

Pressing Ctrl-F will forward the e-mails. Apparently just the buttons and the Commands are missing

Can anyone propose a solutions? I'd appreciate the help. Thanks

Default RE: Forward and send/receive buttons not shown in customize

I found out what was wrong. After re-installing Outlook 2000 I didn't realize I also had to re-establish my internet mail account: Settings, control panel, mail, add
