I need to move my PST files to another disk / location. How do I tell
Outlook to ignore the default location and to look in another location? Thanks. |

Just close Outlook, move the .PST files, then restart Outlook. Outlook will prompt you, when it restarts, to show it where the files have been moved to. -- -Ben- Ben M. Thank you, Ben! Now that I have done this, extra (duplicate) folders
are displayed the Folder List. For example, I now have two Outlook Today listings displayed, two Archive Folders displayed, etc. How do I remove these? I've tried right-clicking the folders, folder Properties, and looked under the File menu for any such option. Johnny Ben M. This worked great! Thank you. But now I need to delete the previous
Personal Folders from appearing in the Folder List because now, after changing the PST location, there are duplicates of everything. Right-clicking or the File menu didn't seem to offer any possibilities. Help? > Just close Outlook, move the .PST files, then restart Outlook.
