Hi,
I configured Outlook 2002 to access my Exchange server mailbox and also use a .pest folder. The profile is configured to deliver new e-mail to the .pst file. Although I post most calendar items in the Exchange mailbox calendar, I sometimes have items showing in the personal folder calendar (when accepting meeting request, etc.). I am trying to find a way to have the ..pest calendar and the Exchange mailbox calendar synchronize. Is it supported by Outlook or do I need additional software to accomplish this? Thanks for your thoughts. C |

This type of synchronization is not built into Outlook. See
http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/sync.htm for possible solutions. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx "Clementius" <anonymous@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:%23mAMMy0EEHA.3064@tk2msftngp13.phx.gbl... > Hi, > I configured Outlook 2002 to access my Exchange server mailbox and also use > a .pest folder. Thanks for your thoughts. C The Calendar, Contacts, etc. folders for the default delivery location will be the ones Outlook uses. Why do you wish to use your PST as the default? In addition to having to manually synchronize or use some third-party program to do it, you won't be able to share your Calendar so that others trying to schedule a meeting can see if you're available. -- Brian Tillman |

Thank you Brian. E-mail is hosted on a remote Exchange server (ISP) and
customer is charged on storage usage. They use .pst file to minimize storage space on the server... I assume they could use auto-archive instead of pst files and keep the Exchange mailbox as the default delivery location.
