cannot reinstall

I had to install a new motherboard and cannot open Outlook
or anything else in Office xp. When I tried reinstall, I
got partway through then got "This patch package could not
be opened. Verify that the patch package exists and that
you can access it, or contact the applicaton vendor to
verify that this is a valid Winidows Installer patch
package." Also, I tried to get direct online help but
this required Outlook id number - since I cannot open
Outlook, I cannot access number.
