Outlook2000 ost and vpn

Hi

I have installed a portable computer on our internal network with Outlook
2000 with and OST file attached.
When I syncronise on the internal network, everything works fine.

Furthermore, I have installed Microsoft PPTP /VPN on the computer, whitch I
use at home via an 512 Mbit ADSL.

My problem is; sometimes Outlook cant reach Exchange on our Small Business
Server 2000, sometimes it can. Sometimes it helps rebooting the server, so
maybe the problem is on the server.

Do you have any suggestions on how to solve this problem. Maybe a link to
how I set up an portabel computer with Outlook 2000 and VPN.
