Default Error 1305

I'm trying to install Outlook 2000 and have received the following error message:

Error 1305. Error reading from file:
d:\pfiles\msoffice\office\1033\ww9asum.dll
Verify that the file exists and that you can access it

I have verified that the file exists...I don't know how to verify that I can access it...it's on a CD
I have tried installing several times and get the same message each time.
Any suggestions?

1305 is a dirty or damaged media warning. Clean the disk. If you still get
the error see if you can copy your CD to your harddisk and install it from
there.
If it's not possible then contact Microsoft for a replacement CD
