Default Importing contact groups

Hi,

I am trying to import outlook from one computer to another. Everything imported over, except the contacts (address book)within their groups. The whole address book is on the new computer, but the individuals are not within their groups. Any ideas?

Many Thanks
Carmen

Do you know what version and mail support mode you were using before? If it
was Outlook 2000 in Internet Mail Only mode, those groups will not transfer
because they were groups in the Windows Address Book, not Distribution Lists
in the Contacts Folder. Only the latter will transfer.

Just make sure you are creating DL's in the Contacts Folder, not groups in
the Address Book. With any luck, they should transfer. I'd also avoid
exporting. Just reuse the PST file so you won't lose data.
