Outlook 97

Hi...
I uninstalled Office 97 from my old computer and
installed it on my new computer and Outlook will not open.
This is what I get; "Outlook.exe has encounted a problem
and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
....says something about my digital id to protect my
product.
I sent the error report to msn. Will they respond? Do I
need to contact them?
