Default Outlook 2003 Send/Receive Issues

Hello, Everyone.

I've encountered a send/recv issue with Outlook 2003 after upgrading
from Outlook 2002. I followed the advice of previous posts regarding
..pst files, and went as far as deleting my mail profile and creating a
new one. However, regardless of what I do, once Outlook 2003 is
launched, the Send/Receive button appears briefly, then disappears. The
Tools | Send/Receive option isn't listed, either. Strangely, Hotmail
and my IMAP mail account (MyRealBox) appear to work normally, and I can
navigate between folders, but again, no send/receive option. Pressing
F9 to force a Send/Receive only fetches mail on Hotmail, completely
ignoring other accounts I've configured. Also, Outlook won't allow me
to edit the default send/receive group. There are no error messages
displayed during any of these operations, so I'm not able to provide
information to that end. I'd appreciate any suggestions how to
troubleshoot this situation; I've found Google and the MSKB less than
helpful to this point.

find and rename your *.srs file and see if that helps.
