Re-Installing Outlook 98

I upgraded my original installation of Office using
service releases 1 and 2. Since then I've had to
reinstall Outlook (in it's pre-SR1 version). It's working
fine but when I try to run the service release program it
says that all products are at SR-2.

Any thoughts on how I can 'force' the SR update to run
just on Outlook?
