Condut a search for "Outlook". When you find the
results, look for the .exe file. Right click on it and "send to" desktop(create shortcut) >-----Original Message----- >How do I add the Outlook 2003 icon back to the desktop? > >Thanks > >. > |

The original Outlook 2000 and XP icons are special ones,
similar to "My Computer" and have certian properties. I would think that Outlook 2003 would be the same. This just creates a shortcut to launch the file, where as the original shortcut placed on the desktop, when right clicked, will give you the same properties as the Control Panel-->Mail icon. Traditionally, this was simply a registry hack that you could insert / remove to control the option to view or hide the Outlook icon. >-----Original Message----- >Condut a search for "Outlook". The TweakUI Powertoys have that option. |
