Default Doesn't know it s Connected to a LAN

Outlook doesn't reconize that my system is connected to a
LAN. Therefore it won't automatically check for new mail
and I must manually send & recieve mail. Switching from
Lan to Dial-up and back didn't help.

If you go to Tools > Options > Mail Setup > have you got Send Immediately
checked > also click on the Send/Receive button on the same page and ensure
that you have checked "Schedule an automatic send/receive every".
