Default How to send emails via your ISP


Ask your cable provider (or search its customer website)
for the SMTP settings they allow. Some ISPs, like
Earthlink, require that all emails sent over their network
use their SMTP (which can still be used for your own email
account and will "reply" to whatever address you
designate. Others, like AT&T allow their SMTP to be used
on their own network only. The work around here is to use
some other SMTP like webmail.register.com
