XP Exchange Problem

I'm installing Outlook XP on a windows XP box and trying
to reach my exchange server from an outside location. I
was able to get this to work just fine with a Windows 98
Machine running Outlook 2000 but it seems to be having
some type of authentication problem connecting. Anyone
run into a problem similar to this?
