Select the MAIL applet From here try to Remove the Exchange from the services. -- Nikki Peterson [MVP - Outlook] "Jo" <gsc@gol.com> wrote in message news:bdmeel$7u0$1@nn-tk103.ocn.ad.jp... Yes, that's that usual way. But remeber I can't even get into an Outlook mode where the tools menu is available. Normally, in this situation in the past I have simply re-installed Outlook, and then when I clcik on it it gives me the choices for the different modes. Now even after a re-install I do no reach the page where there is a choice: it just asks for the Exchange server name again. Thanks.
